Skating is not a crime is  a book about 6 boys: Bob, Tom, Chandler, Marc, Chris and Paul that loves to skate, it starts with that Bob and Tom is gonna meet the others at the ”Victoria station”. First they skate to the car-park because Chris have found a really nice spot there, they skate for a bit and suddenly a guard from the centre come up and says, ”You are not allowed to skate here. You are in the way when the drivers are going to park.”, so they skate to the school instead. But there the same thing happens, the caretaker of the school comes up to them and says, ”You are not allowed to skate here. You’ll ruin things.”

The boys takes their skateboards and go out into the street. ”Skating is not a crime”, says Chandler. ”Why not complain to the mayor.” Everyone thinks it is a good idea. They show their idea to the mayor and he thinks it looks good and they start to build.
